Boeheim Passes Bob Knight For Second

During Boeheim's 903rd career win Brandon Triche, a Syracuse gaurd could not stop hitting the 3 point shot. He made 5 of 7 attempts to add on to his 4 for 4 game at the line. Triche also had 4 steals. But Triche didn't do it alone he had plenty of help from teammates, Micheal Carter-Williams and C.J Fair. Carter-Williams had another double double with 10 assists and 12 points. Fair was another source of points for Syracuse who had 15 points and 7 of those points were off free throws which he had only missed one of.

It wasn't just Syracuse's offense it was also their excellent 2-3 zone which worked to near perfection. The Rutgers only had one scorer above 10 points that was guard, Eli Carter. Carter had 19 points 15 of them coming off 3's which he was 5-10 off of.
