Jose Reyes Goes Down

The Toronto Blue Jays acquired one of the most dynamic base runners in the game of baseball over the off-season, Jose Reyes. Sadly, he has been carted off of the field after sliding into second base and he seams to be badly injured. One scenario is that he will be back in only 4 weeks with a sprained left anke. The other is...
"The other scenario could be three months, or if something comes up we're not expecting, it could be more than that," Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said late Friday night.

This will be a big problem for the Blue Jays this year because they put a heck of a team together out of nothing, but some raw talent and a lot of money. So to see this start to crumble with the biggest man of all going down is just sad to see. Hopefully the other new members like R.A Dickey, Melky Cabrera, Jose Bautista, and Emilio Bonafacio can keep their team alive without their shortstop.
