Nuggets Take One at Home

Andre Miller and Wilson Chandler of the Denver Nuggets pave the way to an exciting start to the play-offs. The Nuggets were outscored by 4 points at the half and they took off from there taking a 2 point lead to finish with and a 1-0 start to their series with the Warriors.

Andre Miller had 28 and 5 assists leading in points for all players this game, Chandler only had 11 points, but backed that number up with 13 rebounds for a double-double. Also for the Nuggets another Andre had a great game, Andre Iguodala had a near double-double with 8 points and 10 rebounds for his Nuggets.

The Warriors were playing on what seemed like all cylinders, their big men David Lee and Andrew Bogut both had at least 9 points and exactly 14 rebounds. Their shooters Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry both had 18 or more points, Thompson with 22 and Curry with 19. Also, their ball handlers Curry and Jarret Jack couldn't be stopped with Curry adding 9 assists to his stat sheet and Jack had a 10 assists and 10 points game off the bench.

The thing that really put this game away was a last second lay-up by Andre Miller that put the Nuggets up by two after being outscored 31-24 in the first 11:58 minutes of the fourth quarter, Miller made it  31-26 in the entire fourth quarter. Making the final score 97-95 Nuggets on top.
