Gallardo Arrested for DUI

The Milwaukee County Sheriff, Fran McLaughlin told ESPN that Yovani Gallardo has $778 in fines for drunken driving and for unsafe driving. Authorities say a breath test revealed a blood-alcohol level of 0.22 which is only .02 less than 3 times the legal limit of .08.

Although he Gallardo was very cooperative says McLaughlin he did has to bring him in for admitting he had a few beers. Also, he was found driving alone at 40 mph in a 55-mph zone and he was swerving from lane to lane at 2:00 AM.

The Brewers pitcher Gallardo isn't doing so hot pitching either with a ERA of 6.61 and a record of 0-1 after his first three starts. His Brewers are also last in their NL Central Division with a 3-8 record.

  1. How sad that these young man, working in a field most others can only dream about, are not smart enough to hire a car when they want to go out drinking! It's hard to believe that each team does not counsel these young players regularly about what not to do!
