Freeman, on the DL

The Atlanta Braves have placed Freddie Freeman on the DL for a strained right oblique on Sunday.

This was not very noticeable with Freeman hitting .417, with 7 RBI's, and a homer in five games. He is even off to what I think is a better start than first baseman for the Tigers Price Fielder, Fielder is hitting .261, with 2 homers and 8 RBI's. The average part just really kills you when you swing for the fences every pitch. On top of that he has lead his Braves to a record of 5-1 and a first place standing in the NL East, while Fielder's Tigers are in third of the AL Central with a 3-3 record.

I think that the Braves need their first baseman back ASAP so they can get back on schedule. Apparently Freeman thinks so too because he was not happy to be placed on the DL after a killer start like his!
