Dodgers Lose Another Pitcher

The Los Angeles Dodgers have list one of their best starting pitchers for the whole season due to Tommy John Surgery. The pitcher is Chad Billingsley and he won't just ruin this season, but it will take up a large chunk of his 2014 season.

Billingsley had an option, either undergo elbow surgery in September, but opted out for rehabilitation and received an injection of platelet-rich plasma. Billingsley was on the disabled list for elbow inflammation three times in the past year.

The elbow hadn't hurt all spring training and through his first three starts this year, but by his most recent game the pain came back. He had an MRI and it proved that Chad Billingsley had a torn ligament.

The Dodgers started their season off with eight solid veteran starting pitchers, but are now missing half of them due to injuries to Billingsley, Zack Greinke and Chris Capuano, and Aaron Harang being traded. This will be a tough season!
