Storm Stopped

The St. John's Red Storm visited the number 9 ranked Syracuse Orange.  This game was all Syracuse.  The important thing for Syracuse was the fact that James Southerland played.  He is a great three-point shooter who can drain threes in clutch moments.  Southerland scored 13 points to go with 2 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.  Michael Carter-Williams leads the nation in assists per game.  Today he proved that, with a total of 17 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists, and 6 steals.  He is a great leader for the Orange.  C.J. Fair has been a huge part of this Syracuse team.  Today he had 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Finally, Brandon Triche scored 16 points and added 7 assists and 5 rebounds.  In my opinion, Brandon Triche doesn't receive enough credit; he can shoot, pass, and dribble.  However,  the Red Storm were stormed by Syracuse.  They were still led by Jakarr Sampson, who scored 21 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 2 assists.  D'Angelo Harrison had 13 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists for the Red Storm.  Now, with James Southerland back, I think Syracuse will be the team to beat.  I also think they will go into the Final Four in the March Madness Tournament, possibly even a national championship victory.
