The Sanfransisco 49ers fear the worst has come for wide reciever Micheal Crabtree. They fear that his achiles tendon may be torn, the incident occurred on Tuesday.
He having tests done to confirm the injury.
This would be very bad for the Niners to lose Crabtree. He had over 1000 yards on 85 receptions. He got the ball into the endzone nine times as well.
It used to seem that having this particular injury would be season ending to a football player. But, Baltimore Ravens Linebacker Terrell Suggs came back last year as well as Tampa Bay Defensive end, Da'quan Bowers.
If the Niners lose Crabtree they have a pretty large depth at wide reciever. They have veterans such as, Anquan Boldin, Mario Chalmers, and Kyle Williams. They also selected rookie Quinton Patton in the fourth round of the NFL Draft
How sad for him....it doesn't seem to matter how good of shape athletes keep themselves, a turn the wrong way or a hit in the wrong place and their season can be over before the season even begins.
