A's Add 2 to the DL

The Oakland Athletics have taken two big hits to their roster today (Wednesday) with Coco Crisp and Brett Anderson dropping to the 15 day disabled list.

Outfielder, Coco Crisp sprained his left hamstring attempting to beat out an infield single in the 13th inning of the Athletics win over the Angels in 19 innings. Left handed relief pitcher, Brett Anderson, tried to field a ground ball in the 18th inning of the same game on Monday and injured his right ankle.

Crisp has had a great season so far, he is hitting .283 with five homers and 12 RBIs in 24 games and is second in the AL with 24 runs. Anderson isn't having the start he would have desired for this season with a 6.21 ERA in six games, but he seems to be improving.
