Quarterback Prospects

  The NFL's Free Agency has started, and there have been many players who have already packed their bags and are headed toward training camp.  Teams that need are quarterback for this coming season are in a jam.  Last year, the draft was filled with quarterbacks.  The teams that need a quarterback the most are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, and the New York Jets.  Many people think that Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow are franchise quarterbacks.  They are not.  Mark Sanchez always runs into the lineman up front, causing a sack.  Tim Tebow has the inability to stay healthy or throw very deep down the field.  The Buffalo Bills released quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, who didn't have a very impressive 2012 season.  The Cardinals' quarterbacks couldn't stay healthy.  Kevin Kolb was doing excellent, but then was injured and missed most of the season.  The Jacksonville Jaguars never really had a quarterback who could carry them to wins.  The Miami Dolphins have a quarterback who didn't have a break-out game to prove that he was going to be the franchise quarterback.  The most popular draft prospect is Geno Smith from West Virginia.  He can go to any one of these teams: Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, or the Buffalo Bills.  He can go to any of these teams because they are all in a hunt for a quarterback.  The Bills have a new head coach this season, Doug Marrone, from Syracuse University.  Before coaching at Syracuse, Marrone used to coach the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets.  Some rumors are spreading, however, that Doug Marrone will bring his quarterback from Syracuse to Buffalo.  Ryan Nassib led Syracuse to win the New Era Pinstripe Bowl over Geno Smith and the West Virginia Mountaineers.  The top prospects in the NFL Draft are Ryan Nassib and Geno Smith.  Both of these players can run and throw the ball down the field.  These players will be fun to watch in the NFL.  By Ameen I.

Marrone to Buffalo

          Syracuse football head coach Doug Marrone has signed with the Bills!  Marrone helped Syracuse win again, can he do it with the Bills?

          When Buffalo was talkling to Marrone, they promised to draft Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib.  So, Nassib will probably go first round.  Marrone's overral record at Syracuse is 25-24.  That may not sound great, but Syracuse was one of the worst programs in the nation when he took over.  Also, he lead them to 2 bowl wins in those 4 years!

Bills going for a double package?

          As you may know, the Buffalo Bills want Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone to be theirs. Rumors say now that the Bills promise that if Marrone comes to Buffalo, than they would pick senior Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib.
          Right now Nassib is projected to go late 1st round or early/mid 2nd round. If Marrone does sign with Buffalo, Nassib's draft stock would sky rocket! Also,Nassib is a very good QB that can be a project that will work out in the Bills favor. He has rewritten the Syracuse record books this year with 3,691 passing yards and 24 scores. He has also lead Syracuse to 2 bowl wins in 3 years, one of those wins being against possible #1 overall pick Geno Smith and West Virginia!

Doug Marrone to the NFL?

Syracuse Football head coach Doug Marrone will be meeting with the Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills about possible coaching options.
If Marrone leaves for the NFL, that would not be good for the 'Cuse. When Marrone took over as head coach for Syracuse, they were on of the worst schools in the country. He really built that school from the ground up, leading them to two bowl games and winning both of them in 4 years. One of those was against the "great" Geno Smith and WVU. In that game Syracuse won 38-14!
Marrone's record at Syracuse is 25-24. That may not sound the best, but he also has some NFL experience because he was a defense coordinator for the Saints. Do you think Marrone is a good choice? Write it in the comments!
