The NCAA March Madness tournament carried on last night with New Mexico Falling 62-68 against Harvard, with The New Mexico Lobos' Alex Kirk putting on a show with 22 points and 12 rebounds leading all players in both categories that game. But, the Harvard Crimson had 4 players in double figures including, Kenyatta Smith, Wesley Saunders, Christian Webster, Laurent Rivard.
The Syracuse Orange had so far the biggest win of the tournament they took it with a score of 81-34 against the Montana Grizzlies. The Grizzlies had no players with more than five points. Syracuse' Brandon Triche took charge this game with 20 points and 4 steals.
One of the closest games yet was The California Golden Bears beating the UNLV Rebels. The Rebels only lost the war by 3 points, 61-64 when their strong leader Anthony Bennet lead them with 15 points and 11 rebounds. But, The California Golden Bears Allen Crabbe put up 19 points and 9 rebounds pushing them to victory.
After Trey Burke's painful fall he came out of the game and he came back able to play and he continued to lead his Michigan Wolverines to victory over the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Glenn Robinson III and Tim Hardaway Jr. had the largest impacts on the game. Hardaway had 21 points and 4 rebounds while Robinson grabbed 6 boards off the shelf and got 21 points as well. That was a large help in their teams prevail of 71-56.
VCU had a massive win almost as big as Syracuse' but, one points less. They beat the Akron Zips 88-42 in a shocker. Troy Daniels was a huge power player this game scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. His teammate on VCU , Juvonte Reddic had 21 points and 6 rebounds. For the Zips their forward, Demtrius, Treadwell had 15 points and 7 rebounds.

UNLV vs. SDSU
The unranked 14-3 UNLV Rebels lead by 6 foot 8 power forward Anthony Bennett will face the #15 San diego State Aztecs. The Aztecs are 14-2 and the reason why is only two words. Jaamal Franklin. Franklin does most of his damage when he finishes at the hoop. Franklin is particularly good at finding holes in zones and driving through them to the hoop. Although he is only 6 foot 5 inches a whole 3 inches shorter than Bennit giving Bennit the advantage in that category.
Anthony Bennett is also the number one candidate for the NCAA Wooden Award. It is clear why though. He has 9.3 rebounds per game and 19.6 points per game leading the Rebels in both of those categories. Jaamal Franklin makes the list of Wooden Award candidates too. He is ranked further down the list at number 8. The reason why is clear, he has great court vision and it pays off. He has 17.9 points per game, 10.3 rebounds per game, and 3.5 assists leading the Aztecs in all of those categories.
The Aztecs as a whole team are a decsent team only losing to the Syracuse Orange and the Arizona State Wildcats. Find out if they will have to add the UNLV Rebels to that list. Post in the comments with your predictions!
