The Miami Hurricanes got their first chance in the tournament this year against the Pacific Tigers. Khalil Kelley had 11 points for the Hurricanes as well as 9 rebounds. For Miami they were in full gear producing 78 points and 21 pf which from Durand Scott. Shane Larkin had 10 points and 9 assists almost a double-double for the Hurricanes. The final score was 78-59 Miami on top.The La Selle Explorers have just upset Kansas State Wildcats by a margin of only 2 points. The Wildcats were heavily favored and this messed up brackets around the nation. If it weren't for Jerrell Wright the Explorers would have fell hard, he produced 21 of the Explorers 63 points an exact third. He also had a large portion of their 26 rebounds with 8 of them. Jordan Henriquez had 12 boards, 5 blocks, and 17 points for K-State keeping them in the game just to fall short 61-64.

Got to watch the 2nd half of the LaSalle/Kansas game and it was a nail biter...but happy they pulled it out......Kudo's to Temple who one today as well.......looking forward to watching Villanova this evening
