The Braves didn't score the whole game and for 7 straight of those they were shut down by Wade Davis who earned his second win. The next 2 innings for the Royals pitching staff was split in half one inning for Kelvin Herrera in the eighth who got his third hold. In the ninth it was Greg Hollands turn who earned his third close in the Royals 1-0 win over the Braves.
The hard part for the Braves starter Mike Minor is that he pitched great only allowing one run, but his team couldn't put up runs and he got the loss making his record 2-1. In fact that was the only run of the game and it was a single to left Jeff Francour and it scored Alcedes Escobar.
The Hitter of The Game
The "hitter of the game" was most definitely Lorrenzo Cain of the Royals, he only got out once in his 4 at bats with 3 hits and that was the most hits of the day. I sound a lot like Billy Beane from MoneyBall, but it's because he gets on base and I like that about him he is one of my surprise players of the year.

The Braves are for real.....not something I'm very happy about....but even in a loss they are still playing good baseball, not something I can say about my beloved Phillies, who look just awful.........
