Spurs Sneaking Up
The San Antonio Spurs are sneaking up, even in the Western Conference. The Spurs have taken first place in the Western Conference, on top of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Not many people have noticed the Spurs coming on this way. They are on a 10 game wining-streak. San Antonio is battling their way through with injuries. Tim Duncan came back from an injury about a week ago, but then injured his knee and ankle again. The Spurs are putting up a great run without Duncan. Duncan really needs to stay healthy to help this team be atop the Western Conference. San Antonio is 22-2 at home. They have great fan support, making it difficult for opposing teams to beat the Spurs. The Spurs are 16-9 on the road. If they win more road games, it will help this team win anywhere, anytime in the regular-season. They are 11-2 in their division. San Antonio is also 21-8 in the Western Conference. This is a very high-scoring offense. They average 104.1 points. The Spurs give up about 95.7 points per game. Many players have stepped up and played really well. By Ameen I.
